Evaluation Summary
Overall, I think my mini-unit went well. The students were excited about the
activities and they learned a lot about Native Americans. I was able to
contradict some misconceptions some students had about Native Americans, relate
the students' lives to Native Americans' lives, and still teach some Indian
customs. The students learned the importance of nature to Native Americans
through the discussions after the stories were read.
