Day Concept Music Activity Art Activity Make-Believe
1 Alligator Sing the Five Little Monkeys and the Alligator Song. Take turns being the alligator and the monkeys. Construct an alligator puppet. Combined with Music.
2 Filled / Full Fill the container with animals found in the marsh while sing the song, Pickin Fill paper pond with alligator paw prints. Fill containers of different sizes with beans and rice while pretending to cook .
3 Fruits / Vegetables Sing the Vegetable Soup song, putting items in a pot as you sing. Paint with real fruits and vegetables or sponge shapes of vegetables and fruit. Prepare alligator bait salad.
4 Follow Using instruments follow the leader creating patterns of music. Create patterns with various suggested media: stickers, cut outs, stamps, buttons, etc. Practice balancing on a low beam or tape placed on floor.
