Giving to Special Education at Illinois
Re-Imagining: Plans Underway to Bring The Education Building into the 21st Century |
| Support Special Education with your gift. Support the College of Education with your gift. |
The Department of Special Education continues to be recognized as one of the leading special education programs in the world based on faculty productivity, external funding, and placement of graduates. Browsing through our website will show you the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students. We are proud of the impact our graduates have in enhancing educational, social, and occupational outcomes for individuals with disabilities. Our accomplishments depend on support from the private sector as state support for public research universities declines. A gift to the Department of Special Education will directly impact opportunities for research, teaching, and service activities that address our primary mission of improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families. Provide your support to the Department of Special Education by completing the following form and sending it along with your donation to the University of Illinois Foundation: SpEd Gift Form.

The Department of Special Education has been preparing students at the doctoral, masters, and undergraduate level for many years. As members of a small department within a very large university, our students form lifelong friendships, mentor relationships, and collegial bonds that last well beyond their time as a student. Through experiences as a student in the Department of Special Education and then after graduation you have built a relationship with others dedicated to supporting research, teaching, and service activities that will ultimately improve the lives of individuals with disabilities. Alumni and friends of the Department of Special Education can be found around the world - and we can help you find ways to connect with them and to stay a part of the Department of Special Education and College of Education family.
