The Department of Special Education has been preparing students at the doctoral, masters, and undergraduate level for many years. As members of a small department within a very large university, our students form lifelong friendships, mentor relationships, and collegial bonds that last well beyond their time as a student. Through experiences as a student in the Department of Special Education and then after graduation you have built a relationship with others dedicated to supporting research, teaching, and service activities that will ultimately improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.
