3. COMPASS

COMPASS is a course management system that you will be using to access instructional materials for the SPED 448 and SPED 432 courses. You will use your NetID & password provided by Academic Outreach to access Compass.
1. Go to http://Compass.uiuc.edu.
2. Click on the Login button.
3. Enter Your Campus NetID. If you do not know your NetID, go to Your Network ID (NetID) on the CITES web site.
4. Enter Your Campus NetID password. If you do not know your NetID password, go to Guide to Passwords on the CITES web site.

Antivirus Software It is very important to protect your computer from viruses and update your antivirus software. You can download free antivirus software from the UIUC CITES web site at http://www.cites.uiuc.edu/antivirus/.
It is highly recommended that you do this if you are not using alternative antivirus software that is frequently updated.
