There's An Alligator Under My Bed

The story this week is There's an Alligator Under My Bed. A little boy imagines an alligator under his bed, but his parents don't believe him. Determined to get the alligator out of his room, the child invents an elaborate trail of alligator bait leading to the garage where he will close the door behind the creature. Safe at last, the little boy now worries that his father may be in danger the next morning when he goes to get in the car. Finally, he decides to write a warning sign. Ask your child what the little boy used for alligator bait (fruits and vegetables). The themes and concepts for this story are alligators, filled / full, fruits / vegetables, follow, and marsh life.
