2008 Outstanding Beginner Education Award

 

Ms. Mallory Morris, a seventh grade ELA teacher at Jefferson Middle School, is the recipient of the 2008 Outstanding Beginner Education Award given by the UIUC Education Alumni Association. This award honors a graduate of the UIUC College of Education who has excelled in their personal and professional endeavors during their first few years of teaching. 

Ms. Morris attended the 2007 Chancellor’s Academy on Literacy.  During the 2007-08 academic year, Ms. Morris participated in the Teacher Collaborator Project with the Center for Education in Small Urban Communities.

The Center is excited to extend its congratulations to Ms. Morris and we wish her many more years of teaching success.
