| Description |
Publishing a book is frequently a requirement for tenure achievement in the humanities and social sciences. Laurie Matheson and Kendra Boileau, Senior Acquisitions Editors at the University of Illinois Press, will provide attendees with an overview of the publishing process at a university press and will discuss the assumptions and challenges of adapting dissertation research to a scholarly book. Matheson and Boileau will also provide seasoned advice on getting a contract offer and working productively with your publisher. |
