Faculty Orientation

Welcome to Education.Online!

The following pages contain tutorials for faculty which provide an essential introduction to the Education Online environment.

Courses offered by Education Online are composed of asynchronous sessions (Moodle: Learning Management System) and synchronous sessions (Elluminate: real-time collaborative environment designed for online courses).

In order to help you become more comfortable communicating online with your students, we provide live practice sessions one week before your first scheduled session in the Elluminate synchronous space.

The below faculty orientation modules are available in video, text (or both). They have been designed to help you become comfortable with the software and navigation you will use when you build and manage your online courses.
