Accessing Your Web Directory

You may access your web folder through the Windows Network neighborhood or Apple Chooser. FTP access is not available for security reasons. Documentation on a variety of access methods, including Windows and Macs from UIUC dialup or campus networks, can be found at http://www.ed.uiuc.edu/cio/network/. The location of your web folder will be given to you when you create it on the COE Intranet.

Using CITES's ph Redirect

CITES's ph Homepage Redirector is useful in helping others find your web site. To utilize the ph Homepage Redirector, you simply need to change the WWW field in your ph entry. You can do this with the UIUC Electronic Directory Editor at https://ede.cites.uiuc.edu/

To access user web folders, follow the directions for your particular computer on the COE Networking page at: http://www.ed.uiuc.edu/cio/network/

You will need to know the network paths for your particular folder:
