Undergraduate Achievement
Award 2006

 
International Programs and Studies, UIUC, invites nominations for the 2006 Illinois International Undergraduate Achievement Award.
 
Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible for the award which recognizes a significant contribution to a campus activity with an international focus.
 
The winner will be recognized with an award that will include $500, to be presented at the international awards banquet in spring 2007.  The banquet is sponsored by International Programs and Studies and hosted by the Chancellor’s Office.
 
Eligibility:
 
· The award is open to any undergraduate student in at least the second year of study at UIUC, and with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
· The student should have achieved a meritorious act or undertaken a sustained activity with an impact on the international programming or mission of a UIUC activity, department, school, or college.
· The achievement or service must be substantiated and verifiable to the satisfaction of the selection committee.
 
Nominations are due by October 16, 2006, and can be made by faculty, staff, or student peers, or students can nominate themselves.  Nomination forms and additional information can be downloaded from the International Engagement, Communications and Protocol website:
