International Faculty Exchange Grants provide a 3-4 week exchange between professors from U of I and an East/ Southeast Asian university. The U of I professor is expected to co-teach an undergraduate course in Asian studies. The Center funds up to $5,000. Revolving deadline. Funds expended by August 19, 2005.

International Council Request for Proposals - Research Travel Grants made available to regular, tenure-line faculty, will again be offered by the International Council to be used in the summer of 2006 or parts of the 2005-2006 academic year. Grants range from $1,000 to $4,000 per award.
CIES Fulbright Senior Specialist Short-Term Grants provide opportunities for lecturing and research in over 140 countries to scholars who are U.S. citizens and, usually, who possess the doctoral degree. Deadlines vary.
College of Education International Course Development Grant seeks to to internationalize four courses and offer three overseas programs each year so that in the next three to four years, every student graduating with a degree from the college will have had exposure to international perspectives as part of their required curriculum.
