Management
in Rehabilitation Certificate Series This information is also found on the Web at What's New or the calendar for dates and locations. Training rehabilitation leaders is a major goal of the RSA Region CRP-RCEP at Illinois. It is important to note that the future of quality services to individuals with disabilities rests, in part, with administrators who are visionary leaders and change makers. To fulfill these roles, these rehabilitation professionals must be well grounded in the values of the fields, proficient in quality business practices, and knowledgeable of the rehabilitation rules and regulations, as well as social policies that influence the rehabilitation field. The rehabilitation Management Certificate Series will help meet these needs. By attending the training and completing field projects, participants will be awarded a Certificate in Rehabilitation Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The cost of the certificate program is only $450.00. This includes four workshop and the Management Simulation Training.
For successful completion of this certificate series, participants must finish five of seven training modules that include four required modules, one elective, and the required field-based assignments. In addition to attending the classes, participants are required to complete a field assignment following each training, except the Management Simulation. Each assignment provides participants an opportunity to apply the learned skills to their organization's operations. Technical assistance will be available to assist in the design and implementation of field work.
