- Recruiting, Hiring, and Retaining Quality Employee
Description: High turnover rates continue to plague the rehabilitation
field. This module focuses on specific strategies that can be used
to lower this costly situation. Developing job profiles, treating
employees as customers, understanding job itself, knowing appropriate
interview techniques, and finding potential employment candidates
will all be addressed.

- Financial Management
Description: This module was developed for rehabilitation
and business professionals who have limited work experience in accounting.
Topics covered include accounting concepts and processes such as cost
accounting, accruals, allocations, projecting capacity, cost benefit
analysis, reading and analyzing financial reports, including balance
sheets, income statement and cash flow statements, and using financial
information to make responsible decisions.

Customer-Driven Marketing
Description: A customer-driven marketing philosophy is based
on the belief that creating genuine consumer satisfaction will lead
to organizational prosperity and the achievement of organizational
goals. In addition, organizations need to generate greater demand
for existing products and services, create new ones, better penetrate
markets and create new, profitable opportunities. With the techniques
covered in these workshops you'll enhance the effectiveness of your

- Management Simulation
Description: The goal of this module is to assist participants
in gaining skills in the area of personnel management, financial planning,

rehabilitation services using an immersion simulation format. Using

management dilemmas represented in the day-to-day operation of a CRP.

- Issues in Managing Employment Services for Quality
Description: A number of current trends and issues face the
leaders of CRPs today. This module focuses on identified issues critical
to the delivery of quality rehabilitation services. Using the backdrops
of world-class service and customer-driven services, participants
will discuss these issues and their potential.

- Strategic Planning
Description: Positioning organizations for the future is one
of the major leadership challenges. Leaders must understand how to
facilitate the planning process of foster commitment, how to access
internal and external networks, how to build a shared vision by encouraging
personal visions, and how to make the plan a day-to-day working document.
Problem solving activities, the use of nontraditional approaches,
and the ability to think outside the box will also be discussed.

- Performance Coaching
Description: As in all business, supervisors are moving from
"supervising" and "managing" people toward more
of a coaching role to help staff carry out the mission of the agency.
This module will focus on turning supervisory personnel from managers
to coaches. Specific coaching strategies will be highlighted. Small
group and interactive instructional techniques will be used.
