The Illinois Critical Technologies Partnership is a new Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction designed to provide teachers with a cutting edge science content integrated with pedagogical content knowledge

The Illinois Critical Technologies Partnership (ICTP) is a Master of Education (Ed.M.) program offered through the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the College of Education.

The goal of ICTP is to provide secondary teachers in science, mathematics, and technology fields with the opportunity to earn a masters degree focused on new and emerging technologies that will have a significant impact on our future. Participants will explore and learn how many of these exciting areas function interdisciplinary, weaving together science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The program is being designed so that secondary science teachers will be eligible for a physics endorsement following the completion of the program and successful passing of the required content test.

The STEM focus emphasizes the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of the work done in many new and emerging fields.

By providing educators with knowledge of the cutting-edge technologies that will have a significant impact on the lives of their students, teachers can apply that knowledge in their classrooms, providing students interesting and relevant content that can inform them about their future.
