The following pages provide an example of the course structure, content quality, and instructional delivery features used in the HRE Online program.

Course in the HRE Online program are organized into:

  • Weeks (10 weeks per course)

  • Modules (Optional) (0-4 modules per Week)

The Weeks provide the structure for the course. Some courses present a great deal of content each Week. To make such courses less intimidating, professors can opt to subdivide their content into Modules within each Week.

The following pages contain content from Week 1 of HRE 400: Principles of HRE.. This is the first course in the Human Resource Development program. Please note that while you specific program might not require this specific course, your navigation experience will be quite similar due to the layout standardization present throughout the program.

  • Week 1 provides an overview of the field and profession of Human Resource Development.
