Students Visit Walgreens Headquarters

HRE graduate students toured Walgreens Headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois. Walgreens greeted HRE students with a warm welcome and the students engaged in a variety of activities that exposed them to how HR works at Walgreens. Walgreens has already employed a number of HRE graduates and because of their excellent work performance, the nation's #1 drugstore chain is interested in hiring more graduates in the future. HRE and Walgreens are striving to continue this positive relationship.

The department thanks to Dr. Andrea Ellinger and Jeanne Koehler (Ph.D. student) for making this valuable company visit happen!
