The History of Education Society's homepage has moved from Slippery Rock University to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The main publication of the History of Education Society is the History of Education Quarterly.

The History of Education Quarterly is now published through Blackwell. The editors are now accepting on-line manuscript submissions. Click here for more information.

The 2008 Annual Meeting of the History of Education society will take place November 6-9, 2008 in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront hotel. The submission deadline is February 15, 2008. Click here for information on the Call for Papers. At the 2008 meeting, there will also be a special workshop on teaching the history of education.
