Biography

Sandra L. Williams is a consultant and professional trainer on ethics, corporate values, and building trust in the workplace. Her work is a unique blend of business management experience, financial expertise, and current research in leadership and change management. Additionally, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Resource Education.

Dr. Williams is the creator of two values-based ethics training programs offered by the Better Business Bureau of Chicago entitled: Ethics for Business Success. She is also the author of a strategic management and team development program published as Human Capital Management & Development. Her mission is to elevate the level of interpersonal trust, ethical behavior, and corporate values in professional organizations, and to provide leaders with a foundation for both corporate integrity and financial success.

Dr. Williams is a founding partner in an interactive software company called Sharedecisions, LLC, which developed a lifestyle improvement program based upon individual value profiling and value application. Second stage development and marketing of that unique program is being managed by a national health care firm.

Dr. Williams' work has been published in both research journals and management practice magazines, including: the Journal of Organizational Excellence, Human Resource Development International, the RMA Journal, Legal Management, Interchange, Association Forum, and Human Resource Management Perspectives.

Her training seminars offer leaders at both corporate and non-profit organizations practical tools to raise their level of professional credibility, while building respected marketplace reputations for their firms. Topics include the Financial Benefits of Trust in the Workplace, the Business Case for Ethics, the Core Values of Solid Ethics Management, and using Corporate Values for Leadership Commitment and Employee Performance. Recent clients include Deloitte & Touche, Bank of America, Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, Decatur Executives Association, DePaul University, Millikin University, the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Georgetown University, and the Union League Club of Chicago.

Dr. Williams is a former Senior Vice President with Bank of America, where she was responsible for executive level learning and development. She earned a Ph.D. at UIUC in the Human Resource Development (specialization in Organization Development). Her dissertation examined ethics in for-profit and non-profit organizations.
