Biography

Jeanne Koehler is pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Human Resource Education. She holds a masters degree in HRE from UIUC, and a bachelors degree in English from Eureka College. Jeanne started her career as a high school English teacher in Louisville, Kentucky teaching at an alternative high school. After four years of teaching, she changed gears and began her corporate career editing training materials for a large insurance and financial services company. Throughout several years, she advanced and held the following positions: training analyst, training supervisor, performance support staff assistant, and manager. During her career, she has designed courses for a variety of audiences using diverse delivery methods including self-study, online, classroom, and small groups. She is passionate about her research in corporate learning and its connection to business results.
