Financial Aid
To be considered for financial aid, a student must be admitted to the department by February 1. A student need not be a U.S. citizen to apply. EPS financial aid is availble both for new and for continuing graduate students in the form of assistantships and tuition waivers. An EPS assistantship can be renewable for a maximun of four years. All three forms of assistanship include tuition waiver for the summer.
Teaching
Assistantships
| Usually provided for courses EPS 201 and EPS 210. A teaching assistantship provides at least $3,120 for one-quarter time plus exemption from tuition and service fees. |
Research
Assistantships
| Research Assistanships are available at salaries identical to those of teaching assistanships, including exemption from tuition and service fees. |
Tuition
and Fee Waivers
| A waiver provides exemption from tuition and service fees but no stipend. |
