  • Debra Bragg has received the College of Education Distinguished Teaching Career Award for 2008
  • Brad Kose has been named a College of Education Faculty Fellow for 2008-09
  • Chris Lubienski has been awarded a Hardie Strategic Initiatives Faculty Fellowship for 2008-09
  • Debra Bragg received the Senior Scholar Award from the Council for the Study of Community Colleges
  • Tim Cain received a Spencer Foundation Exemplary Dissertation Award, one of five awarded nationally for dissertations completed from 2003-2007
  • Richard Justice received the Donald Gehring Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Student Affairs, from the Association for Student Judicial Affairs

  • Deneca Winfrey has been named a UCEA Barbara L. Jackson Scholar for 2007-08.
  • Jervais McGlone has been selected to participate in the Twenty-Eighth Annual Graduate Student Policy Seminar, to be held immediately prior to the ASHE Annual Meeting in Louisville, KY Nov. 8-10, 2007.
