Chris is studying the role of choice and competition in recreating the school system in post-Katrina New Orleans. Dr. Lubienski is working with other scholars across the nation in exploring the role of choice and competition in providing quality educational options that city.

The Office of Community College Research and Leadership (OCCRL)

The Office of Community College Research and Leadership (OCCRL) was established in 1989 at the University of Illinois. Current funded initiatives focus on partnerships between community colleges and high schools, including studies of academic and career pathways for youths and adults.
