College of Education Training and Support for EdWebs

 

Individual introductory training or group workshops on using EdWebs and Contribute can be scheduled with Shelley Chandler of the Instructional Computing Lab.  The initial training lasts about 2 hours:  one hour of instruction and one hour of hands on training. The hands on part of the session will go better if you have previously requested permissions to an existing site or a new folder be created for a new site.  Contact webmaster@mail.ed.uiuc.edu to request permissions to an existing site or a new site folder.

Some units have "content buddies"  These are individuals who work specifically with that unit.  If you have a content buddy, you will know it.

After your initial training, additional support on on EdWebs and Contribute can be found by:

• emailing questions to webmaster@mail.ed.uiuc.edu or your "Content Buddy" if you have one.
• scheduling a consultation with EdWebs support staff.  Either call the TLC at 244-6053 or submit a contact form to do this.
• scheduling a consultation with your content buddy if you have one.
