Styles Reference
This document is intended as a reference for the styles available to you in Contribute. If you have any recommendations for styles, please pass them along to your Content Buddy -- we're always looking for ways to make your Contribute experience as smooth as possible.
"Normal" and "Heading" Styles
The order of the Styles menu may be a bit confusing. Macromedia chose to put the Normal style at the top of the Contribute styles list and the Heading styles at the bottom of the list. All of the custom styles we have developed for our site are in alphabetical order in between.
The Normal style is the default style -- just like in Microsoft Word. If you want to remove a style, the best way is to apply the Normal style.
The Heading styles are just as you would expect. Please use them in order -- i.e., Heading1 first, then Heading2 for headings that fall hierarchically under Heading1 and so forth. This helps make the pages more accessible. See below for a sample of each heading.
List Styles
The ListFlush and ListFlushSmall styles are available, but Contribute 2.0, unfortunately, cannot apply list-specific styles. If you'd like unordered lists without bullets that are flush left, let your content buddy know, we can help you. Here is a sample of a list with the ListFlush style applied to it:

Text Styles
The text styles are pretty self explanatory. Note that most styles affect the entire line/paragraph, whereas some styles such as TextCode, TextContact, and TextVariable can be applied to strings of text within a paragraph.

By the way, have you noticed how neat styles are?
