About Our Graduate Students
Our graduate students are among the brightest and most talented students of those who seek graduate training, and come from all over the United States and the world. We value individuals who are eager to learn, are eager to develop their own ideas, and eager to apply their knowledge to yet unsolved problems. We also value diversity and learning from the varied life experiences and perspectives each person brings with them. Graduate training can be a demanding time, but it can also be fun and invigorating, too. The people you meet and work with may become your friends for life, and the faculty who work with you may be your mentors and colleagues long after you leave the program.
