Studies In Interpretive, Statistical, Measurement and Evaluative Methodologies For Education
Working in two areas –statistics and measurement and evaluation, Queries faculty and students are concerned with developing and applying new methodologies and become involved with multiple research activities, both within the Department of Educational Psychology and the College of Education, and across the larger campus. Our students are in high demand for teaching and research assistantships, and when they graduate their positions in the public and private sector include, for example, measurement analysts, testing and evaluation directors, statistical specialists, and university faculty. Current research includes measuring the qualify of life for medical patients, assessment-based standards and reform, the intersections of social science and social policy, democratic evaluation approaches, and philosophical issues in interpretive methodolgies.
