Getting started with WebBoard

How do I start using WebBoard?
WebBoard is a web-based conferencing system used by many courses at UIUC.
  1. Go to the WebBoard for your specific class. Usually you can follow a link from your class web page.

  2. Here are some examples of WebBoards for classes in the College of Education in the Fall 1999 semester: You should now see this screen:

  3. If you don't already have an account on one of the Academic Outreach WebBoards, click on the "New Users" button New Users button. You should then see this screen:

  5. Fill out the information, especially those things marked with a red dot a red dot.

  6. Click on the Create button the create button at the bottom. You should now be registered and able to use WebBoard.
  7. If these steps don't work, look at the detailed instructions for using WebBoard.
