Interactive Multimedia Paper 1:
What is Streaming Media?

The first half of your writing assignment can be found on pages 17-19 of the IMP at http://cternt1.ed.uiuc.edu/imp/default.cfm?paperid=29 Your login is your first initial and your last name, all lowercase; to start your password is the same - change it after you log in.

For the second half of your writing assignment, do the following. Determine which type of streaming media is most appropriate for your needs. Justify that assessment in an email to Jim Bertelsen (click this link to open). You will produce 3 to 5 minutes of streaming audio synched with graphics, video and/or captioned text to be integrated into your ePortfolio. The more specific you are about what you want to produce and why, the better he'll be able to help you. If you're too vague, you'll get a late start and he may not be able to help you adequately. Keeping that in mind, make sure to explain how the media will make a significant contribution to your ePortfolio. Here are more details.
