Writing: Why an e-portfolio? Write a persuasive essay of about 1200 words:
Should teachers consider creating their professional portfolios in digital format?
Why? What advantages/disadvantages do you see to this?

- Analyze CTER exemplary projects
1-Under what type of ePortfolio would you classify yours? (according to Types of ePortfolios)
2- Analyze one of your projects using Web Evaluation Workbench (WEW), with the rubric EdPsy490i, only.
3-Analyze and evaluate one of the web sites listed in "CTER exemplary projects"

To do the analysis and evaluation you will be using the Web Evaluation Workbench WEW

A) Analysis: In WEW you have to type the URL of the site selected in the text box, then choose Edpsy490i in the drop down menu for rubric. Write your comments in the frame below, next to each question. This will create a document for you that you will save and attach to the webboard in this conference together with the Evaluation document.

B) Evaluation: Type the same URL in the WEW text box, but this time select "Steve Rutledge's" from the rubric menu. Complete the questions below the textbox, create a document and post attached in this conference together with the Analysis document.

-Interview with: Krug, S (2000) author of "Don't make me think: a common sense approach to web usability", Indianapolis, IN: New Riders Publishing.

Writing:
- Create a ten-question questionnaire to conduct a usability test. This questionnaire is meant to be filled out by a person who is observing the user navigating a site. Do not conduct the test, only create the instrument.
To create a form you can use the instructions at the College of Education; or you can use this tutorial on how to create a form, or use some of the following 'form generators':

- Draw your site map Explain the navigation you use, and say what changes in navigation or organization you would like to make to the site.
To draw the site map you can use PowerPoint, Word or any image editor you are familiar with, or you can use free software such as eXactMapper Lite which makes the creation of a map very easy, or you can also show it in a table format.
