New Users Group

Established in Fall 2003, the DataMaster Group is a new University users group for those that work with data and data related applications. These web pages, listserv, and events strive to serve this University community by fostering the exchange of knowledge. To join, simply participate (see below for ideas on how to participate).


Our Mission: to create a professional environment for technical architects, database administrators, and data analysts that fosters sharing information, professional development, and institutional standardizations across the University.

At this moment, our best resource is our threaded listserve on WebBoard. This listserve is broken out into various discussions so that users can subscribe to topics of interest. Please join.

Note: DataMasters is serves all three campuses. The scope of the group was debated and you'll see references to just the U-C campus. If you would like to head up a campus intiative, please contact us.
