This week, we present the solution to the DogRace and TruePhrases
brain teasers, and offer several new brain teasers: one from Mike
Kolker, one from one of Ellen Eigner's 6th grade students, and two
from Sharon Webster's students.  This email comes in four parts: these
introductory notes, solution to DogRace, solution to TruePhrases, and
the new brain teasers.  If you have any comments about this format
(e.g., too many pieces), please let us know.

If you have not yet submitted your comments from last week, please 
take a moment to do so now.  It will *greatly* help us with our
