I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (home of the past, past Rose Bowl champs). I have a degree in Psychology and Elementary Education. College life in Madison was a fantastic experience, but having grown up in Wheeling, Il., I am glad to be back in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.

I believe that learning should be fun and related to children's real life questions and experiences. I love teaching science and social studies. I am not too crazy about math, but I am learning a lot about how to teach it.

I am a great fan of Chicago sports teams, so for fun, I get together with friends to watch the games. I am also into playing softball, volleyball, and basketball. I am thinking of trying out for the American Gladeators too (no really, I am serious). I enjoy rollerblading, cooking, entertaining friends.
