Before teaching in the rapidly growing Indian Prairie School District 204 in Naperville, I taught sixth grade at the Urbana Middle School in Urbana, IL. I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education from Indiana University in 1990 and willingly became one of IU and Bobby Knight's strongest basketball fans (not always accepted here in Illinois!). In May, 1996 I will complete my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Illinois - I don't know what I will do with my "spare time". I am noticing that the more I learn and explore with technology, the less "spare time" I think I will have. There is so much out there! I would like to find ways to connect my students with resources to expand their learning and to encourage their curiosity and enthusiasm.
