John Carter teaches mathematics at Community High School District 94 in West Chicago. John is in his ninth year of teaching high school mathematics. He taught for six years at West Chicago, one year at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, and returned to West Chicago as as department chairperson two years ago. During his teaching career he has taught courses from General Math through AP Calculus. His current teaching assignment includes AP Calculus and Algebra One.
John earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. He completed his Master's Degree in 1993 in Curriculum and Instruction extramurally through UIUC. He will complete his CAS in Educational Administration in August 1996.
