After graduating from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education, I taught in public school for 3 years. I then taught 3rd and 4th grade in a private school for 14 years. During that time I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Computer Education. Because the principal at the private school did not see the value of technology, I quit my job. I am now working in Morton Grove as the Technology teacher for Golf Middle School, District 67.

Currently, I am working on my CAS (Certificate for Advanced Studies) in education administration through the extramural program at U of I. I hope to go on to work on my doctorate in Technology. On a personal note, I have two teenage children and a wonderful husband who has the patience of a saint to put up with all my activities.
