Computers for Collaboration
I am interested in collaboration as a form of communication. I see that collaboration fits well under the sub-category communication because many of the same methods are used. It is important to note that you cannot collaborate without first having both sides communicate to share their ideas and combine the separate parts.
Off of the Internet, people are collaborating through:
- Snail Mail (U.S. Postal Service)
- Telephone
- Shared Laboratories/Facilities and Human Resources
- Facsimilie Machines
- Conferences/Committees and Meetings
- Brainstorming/Think Tanks
On the Internet, people are collaborating by:
