Getting Your Webpage on the Web

1. Create your web document with Web links
   
   1. use Microsoft Word
      
   2. create links by right clicking (control-click on Mac) on text to be linked, then enter URL in window
      
   3. save document as "HTML" file or "Web page" or "Hyper Text Markup Language" using the filename "index.html".
      
2. In your Netfiles account, make a directory called "edpsy313" inside your already existing "www" directory.  Upload your document to the www/edpsy313 directory of your NetFiles account (information on how to set up and use your UIUC NetFiles account can be found here).
   
3. Access your page with a Web browser
   
   1. The URL will be netfiles.uiuc.edu/your_netid/www/edpsy313, replacing "your_netid" with your netID (e.g, jsmith).
