1. Dialup to your ISP server (connect your computer to the Internet).

2. Choose Start --> Run...

3. Type telnet students.uiuc.edu and hit <enter> or click on OK button.

4. Log in to the server by typing your netID and password.

5. The rest of the steps are the same. The only differences are (1) the background is white, and (2) it is slower to use your computer at home through dialup. Click here to go back.
