General K-12 Resources

TCET Resources for Educators list of Projects
Although some projects are specific to Texas area schools, an excellent source of K-12 collaborative-based projects which require the integration of the Internet and computer technology into the curriculum.  A great site to get good ideas and research other resources such as educational organizations, many educational web sites, Ed Technology journals and many curriculum resources.  Check it out ya'll!
Florida IT Resource Center
Another excellent K-12 resource, though some are specific to the needs of the Sunshine State. Go to "sunsations data base" and then explore their list of "web links" and "lesson plans."
Schools of California Online Resources
The resources and lesson plans provided in this site are listed by grade level and discipline (history/social studies; science; language arts and mathematics).  Many of the resources are evaluated by professional educators.  The math resource section lists several on-line data bases which students can use in math and social studies projects.  Check out the "kids corner" under the "science" section for fun.
NASA on-line educational projects
A general list of NASA based projects that are enticing to all who wonder about what's going on up in the stratosphere.  Also check out NASA Space Link to acquire a general overview of what NASA offers educators.
NASA Mars Team Online
Click on the "teachers' lounge"section to access a discussion site where teachers "meet" to arrange collaborative projects.  Try the "kids corner" for a list or projects and a gallery of students' work.  And don't forget the "teachers' guide" section for assistance with developing curriculum using the NASA mars project.

This shareware generates random problems with step-by-step solutions. Topics include: inequality symbols, combine multiplication of signed numbers, remove parentheses, division of signed numbers, order of operations, introduction to exponents and distributing. The program maintains a record of the student's progress and has five levels of difficulty.
