My name is Ken Cooksey. I teach at Deerfield High School in Deerfield Illinois a suburb of Chicago. I like to use computers in my teaching. My favorite software packages for this task include Voyager, a computer planetarium program, Interactive Physics, a computer simulation program, and Cricket graph, a chart and graphing program. My students build airplane wings, make and break bridges, shoot model rockets, and participate in fun experiments. We believe that physics can be phun. I am so old that I have studied BASIC, COBOL, and PASCAL. I believe that you are only as old as you feel and I feel young at heart.
