This class is really my first serious attempt at becoming even somewhat technologically literate!! I work with a fantastic cohort that has been encouraging me for four years now to delve into this new arena. . . much to my hesitation and fear. I had a friend take this class a short time back and he "came out" to be very excited about technology and highly recommended this class to me. I have taught sixteen years and only knew (know!!) how to turn the computers on in the morning and turn them off after school... The kids know more than I, and I felt it's time to at least get started in my trek. . . This is my seventh year in Champaign Unit #4 at Booker T. Washington Magnet School. . . such a neat place for all students!! The staff and programs here are wonderful. . . I have the opportunity to have my own son attending here and my daughter was here for at least one year in fifth grade before moving on to middle school.
