In the third year as LRC Director for our building of 750 students in grades K-5, my responsibilities include ordering, managing and circulating instructional resources which support the curriculum. The LRC, strategically placed in the center of the building, houses our 15,000 volume library and our 17 computer (Mac) lab. The Computer Assistant, LRC Assistant, host of parent volunteers, and I deliver instruction to individuals and groups, coordinating services with the classroom and special services teachers.
My educational background includes a BS in Elementary Education (Early Childhood) from the University of Illinois, an MS in Elementary Education (Reading) from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and a CAS in Educational Administration from the University of Illinois in August,1996.
