General Course Information

 

Announcements:

  • 4/12: You do *not* need to do POST HOC tests for homework 8.
  • 4/3: HOMEWORK #7 Extension to THursday April 12!!
  • 2/23: There will be 2 parts to the mid-term exam: An in class part that will be held on Tuesday March 6, which consists of 12 questions similar to the sample questions given above, and a take home part, which consists of 3 computational problems that do not require the use of the computer (i.e, hand calculator needed). The take home will be distributed March 6th after you turn in your answers to the in class exam and is due at the beginning of class on Thursday March 8.
  • 2/15: The homework (#3) is due Tuesday, Feb 20---due to snow and UofI closing.
  • 2/12: I corrected the lectures notes on hypothesis testing for 1 mean (except for the figure on page 35---"reject" should be "retain").
  • 2/5: I will be up-dating lectures notes, so I suggest you wait until a day before lecture to print out notes. If lecture notes have been up-dated, I will indiciate this next to the link to the notes.
