I am a second year doctoral student in Leisure Studies. I am taking Ed Psych 387 so I can learn how to use the computer for research and for teaching. My research interest is in the area of human-animal interaction and how it relates to the transition into retirement. Currently I am doing an independent study with Professor Beck who is the Director of the Center for the Study of Human-Animal interaction at Purdue University in the Vet School. We are using the computer to communicate on e-mail. This is an exploratory study for both of us.
