Chapter 8: The little school that ... could
What educational reforms did you read about that you think may still be important in the year 2020? What do you think are the main reasons it's so hard to sustain educational change in the schools?

Based on how slow schools are to change, do you think technology alone will make that big of a difference? Why or why not?

At the end of this article is a quote by Ron Edmonds: "We can whenever, and wherever we choose, successfully teach all children whose schooling is of interest to us. We already know more than we need to accomplish that task. Whether or not we do it must finally depend on how we feel about the fact that we haven't so far." What is your reaction to this quote?

What school buildings have you experienced that incorporate any of the ideas in this article? Explain the environment.
