Prof. Levin,
This is one personal home page that promises a lot of
visual feasts --
http://www-swiss.ai.mit.edu/philg/philg.html
The owner of this page, Philip Greenspun, is the winner of
a Best of Web'94 award. There are quite a few interesting
stories and photo albums links from this page, including
the story that won the award,"Travels with Samantha".

Dr.Levin:
I have located an extensive personal web site on John Coltrane. This site
contains: 1) several pict files of the artist, 2)quotations from Coltrane
and other musicians who have played with him, 3) a comprhensive discography
which is linked to other personal sites of contemporaneous musicians. Each
of the recordings listed includes the tracks of each record, and the other
band members who played each of the cuts. This site could be enhanced with
a couple of sound files, but the amount of information on this artist is
quite extensive. The URL is:
http://www.nwu.edu:80/WNUR/jazz/artists/coltrane.john/
Thanks

Dear Professor Levin,
Thanks for the info on my account. I found a home page that I liked. It
belongs to Jeremy Bartusch, a Teaching of Mathematics major at the U of
I. Click here for the page.
The reason I like the page is that it's entertaining. He uses a lot of
graphics and the language he uses is simple and colloquial.

Hi! Pr. Levin:
Here is the URL of the homepage which I think it is excellent
and interesting: http://www.physics.uiuc.edu/~weitzen
I found it out randomly and think the size of the font he uses
is very readable. Also, there are quite detailed info about
both his acedemic and personal life which could be found by
clicking those blue underlines. Therefore, people can get to
the point which they need to know efficiently. He also linked
his friends' web site to his own. It seems to be a good idea
his personal convience. There are some othere interesting web
sites and directories availabe there. They all make this
homepage interesting for visiting.

Here is my favorite home page that I've found.
http://www.gezi.com/gzworld/gigi.html
Reasons why I like this home page:
1. It looks nice and well-organized.
2. There is a way to contact with the owner and also to make any comment.
3. It looks very easy to be used, not many links.
4. It has some Thai words which make it very attractive/interesting to a
Thai person like me.
5. It has been updated frequently. It has been changed a lot from the
first time that I saw it (last semester).
Hope you enjoy Thai recipe on this page.

Dr. Levin,
I thought this persons home page was quite interesting not so much for
the content but because of the myriad of graphics and links he used
within it. Some of the links go to sites i thought were interesting. The
graphics he used makes one want to explore a bit just to see what they
are linked to. This is the URL:

This guy is also the "mayor" of a web site known as Digital City. DC's
URL is:
http://www.viper.net/fun/dc/
DC is a database of links all over the web. Users can place icons on the
map of DC that link to their homepages or to other sites.

Dr. Levin,
After surfing in the web for hours, I found tons of interesting
personal home pages. Some of them have great graphic and nice color; some
of them have humorous content and some of them have useful links to other
sites.
It's hard for to decide which one is THE best one. Well, I'll just
list them all:
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/afs/cs/user/phoebe/mosaic/my-home-page.html
Phoebe Sengers' home page
Be sure to visit her "WWW house"-- a "cozy" place on the net!!
http://gopher.ag.uiuc.edu/ansci/whomepage/index.html
Wendy L. Van Wazer's home page
Nice background and nice picture. Not wordy at all, only links to more
detail information. It's a good way to have a clean and neat home page like
this.
http://soma.npa.uiuc.edu/~xu/
Zhian Xu's home page
Well arranged personal and acdemic information. Useful links to some sites
about china and chinese.
http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~mhgoble/
Michiyo's home page
A page introducing Japanese culture. (Can it be a sample for major project
for this class?)
http://fulton.seas.Virginia.EDU:80/~rhh2h/
Ron's home page
Well designed list of links to his personal and other information.
Hope other class members will also enjoy them.

Hi Jim: Here is my pick for the best personal web-page. It belongs to
Beth Heywood. She is a junior at Duke University. I found her home page
to be visually appealing and well laid out. Also, she provides just
enough information about herself to interest the viewer, without too much
boring details. Her links to other useful sites adds considerable
substance to her page. http://www.duke.edu/~btig/homepage.html

Subject: A favorite personal homepage
Dr. Levin, the example of a personal homepage which I like is not one
homepage but a group. At present it does not have any links, or graphic
displays, or sounds; but the individuals discribed within the homepage
were individuals who were loved and now are missed. The address for this
home page is: <http://catless.ncl.ac.uk/VMG>. The
author of this homepage hopes in the future to be able to allow those
individuals who are trying to work through the loss of a loved one, to be
able to display their picture, play their favorite song, and many other
things which will allow them to express who this very important
individual was and how much they miss them.
This homepage offers people a way to express their feels and share them
with others.
This homepage has emotional impact. It allows you to see how individuals
you have never ment, effected the lives of people you most likely will
never meet. It allows you to examine the history of the average person.

Professor Levin:
I like the way this personal page was constructed.
http://www.pitt.edu/~filipina/bio.html.
There is information on a broad range of topics, but the information is
neatly organized in clusters at the opening page, that serves as a table
of contents. This presentation allows the browser to choose a topic of
interest without going through a maze of unwanted information. I
consider this to be an important feature when the expected audience for
the page is diverse. The links to the Internet Society and Philippine
culture are among the more useful information that I find in this page.
Other commendable features are the author's choice of background color
and use of the sound machine.

Prof.Levin,
My favourite WWW personal home page is
the Homepage of Volker Hegelheimer.
I find it very pleasant to look at and well-organized, very informative
and useful for those interested in ESL and computer uses in education. You
can contact the author easily. The page is updated frequently so it keeps
you visiting it again and again.
