STEP is a unique program that offers the student with disabilities support in the transition to the postsecondary environment and to the employment community while emphasizing the use of current computer technologies. Collaborative efforts and family involvement are stressed. The experiences with computer technology gained through STEP will enable the student to be more prepared for the postsecondary enviornment and employment. STEP consists of two tracks:

• the Scholars program (academic year and summer residential phases) and
• the Professionals program (job readiness classes, accommodations, advocacy, resume writing, interviewing, networking).
