The purpose of this project is to form a Consortium consisting of the Institute on Disability: UAP at the U of NH; Talent Search and Upward Bound, the NH DD Council, the Task Force for the Improvement of Secondary Special Education, the NH Postsecondary Tech College System, and the NH College & University Council to develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate a model that will introduce new, improved, and sustainable approaches for recruiting and supporting individuals with disabilities in NH postsecondary institutions and beyond.

Model components include:

• active recruitment and outreach to high schools,
• creative and flexible admissions policies & practices,
• social-emotional supports provided by peers,
• academic & vocational supports through technical support to faculty/staff/administration & students, and
• transfer of accommodations to the workplace.
