Grant and Project Web Sites

Grant and project web sites are generally kept in the root folder of the COE Web server and will have a URL like http://www.ed.uiuc.edu/mygrantname. To request space on the server for a grant web site, send an email to webmaster@mail.ed.uiuc.edu with the following information:

• what the grant is about
• whether the grant/project is funded externally or internally
• who needs access to edit the web site

Grant and project web sites may use the College of Education publishing and templating system known as EdWebs or they may develop their own templates and choose their own publishing tools.  Rationale for both are outlined at: http://www.ed.uiuc.edu/edwebs/benefitsofedwebs.html
