Web Publishing at the College of Education

Publishing web pages at the College of Education can be done in many different ways.  What method you choose will depend on what kind of site or page you want to create and what kind of staff and skills available to you.  Below are information and resources to help you understand what's available to you and how to get your pages published:

Publishing Methods

EdWebs Solution
The EdWebs solution is the result of combining a commercial solution with inhouse developments intended to provide users with a content management system for web publishing.  This solution is used by departments and units of the college, but is available for grants, student organizations, professional organizations, etc.  For more details, see the CIO EdWebs page
Traditional Web Authoring Tools
Publish sites/pages with traditional tools such as DreamWeaver, FrontPage, or even a text editor.  All you need to know is how to connect to the web server (see "Connecting to Servers" below).
